DYNASTY HAPPY HOUR

Dynasty Happy Hour (DHH) was created five years ago by Tyler Guenthner and he is very grateful for the journey that it has taken him on. Tyler recently had some time to reflect and share his thoughts on his experiences and he told me that he has “met so many amazing people and made so many new friends” along the way. He also said, “I have watched the community grow so much and am so proud of everyone taking a chance and putting their work out there.” Tyler has always told the writers for DHH, “If the article helps one single person, than the article has done its job.” Writing to help people win fantasy football championships has always been the goal for the team and they have certainly accomplished this year after year.

At the center of the DHH brand is the The Dynasty Happy Hour Podcast. It was created back when there were only about five dynasty podcasts in existence according to Tyler. The primary goal with starting the podcast was to give people dynasty related information and to provide their entertainment for the day. It has been a natural fit for Tyler as he considers himself a “much better talker than writer”. The website, DynastyHappyHour.com is the hub for the brand’s content where you can find player rankings (rookie, Devy, SuperFlex, IDP, ADP, and staff member rankings), articles, player evaluation tools, DHH apparel, and more.

The IDP Power Hour is another DHH podcast hosted by Russ Mavis (@ClutchRuss72) and the IDP enthusiast known as Oklahomie Doug (@OklahomieDoug). IDP stands for Individual Defensive Player and provides a unique and challenging fantasy football format in which individual defensive players are included within traditional fantasy football lineups. In addition to these fellas talking about IDP fantasy football on the podcast, excellent content can be found on the DHH website about this topic. This includes top 250 IDP player rankings and positional rankings at safety, free safety, defensive back, and defensive line.

The collective chemistry that the DHH roster of analysts, writers, and contributors has is quite unique given the experiences they have shared together. They have been together for about three full years at this stage and the content that they consistently produce has been a game-changer for many individuals playing dynasty fantasy football. Sharing the passion and love for the game of fantasy with DHH followers is what its all about for Tyler and the team.

The mission for DHH is to give listeners the information they need to win championships and to provide aspiring analysts and writers a platform to grow their influence within the industry. Those that truly want to contribute to the fantasy community greatly appreciated this type of opportunity. It is often quite difficult to find the confidence to write quality content and so DHH editors and staff work together to help one another grow and develop their skills. Tyler told me that he loves nothing more than to see a DHH crew member grow and find success within the industry.

To learn more about what Dynasty Happy Hour is doing within the fantasy football community, make sure to follow their social media accounts and subscribe to their podcasts. It is also highly recommended to follow the entire team on twitter as well so links to their accounts have been included.
