THE FANTASY HEADLINERS

For the last eighteen years fantasy football has been something that has brought great joy to the life of Jake Hubman. The game has been a way to keep trash talking with long distance friends, build relationships with past and present coworkers, and has provided an opportunity for him to share his passion and knowledge of fantasy football in a positive way. Jake believes that in a world that can be filled with a lot of negativity, fantasy football is something that unites people and brings excitement and fun to a lot of people’s lives.

Just a few short years ago Jake came to the realization that there was a lot of fantasy content available but he felt that people never really got to interact with the hosts of the shows that they watched. With that in mind, The Fantasy Headliners was created to provide its YouTube viewers (“Headliner Nation”) with a voice in the community by giving them the opportunity to interact with the host of the show. He wanted to provide a positive place for viewers to go and feel like they were a part of something big. With nearly 85,000 subscribers on YouTube heading into the 2020 NFL season, the Fantasy Headliners have definitely become something big!

The Fantasy Headliners YouTube channel, website, and social media content covers all things NFL and Fantasy Football. They also provide Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) content for those looking for something other than season long leagues as well as baseball and golf coverage. The brand truly believe in transparency. Jake recently said to me, “So often in this industry analysts often rush to tell you the calls that they had correct but very few admit where they were wrong. Every week we look back at our prior advice and say where we did good and where we did bad. This is a great way for the channel to build credibility as well as the viewers trust.”

Jake and the team refer to their community of viewers as “Headliner Nation” and believe that this special group of people is the core of the brand and what all of the effort that they put in to produce content is all about. Jake recently told me, “Our community is called #HeadlinerNation but that makes it sound like it's just a group of people. It's more than that. We may be a large group of individuals but together we aren't just a community, we're a movement. A movement that won't be easily stopped.” There is no question why so many individuals are attracted to this community. The Fantasy Headliners consistently provide a positive environment that is supportive, encouraging, and entertaining.
